Terms of service.
Last updated: April 24, 2026
These terms cover your use of QuickQuick as a rider — getting motorcycle rides, sending packages (Pasuyo), and using anything else in the app. By signing up or using QuickQuick, you agree to all of this. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top and ask you to re-accept on next launch.
Who can use QuickQuick
You must be 18 or older. You must use a real, working phone number that you control. One person, one account. We close duplicate or fake accounts when we find them.
What QuickQuick does and doesn't do
QuickQuick is a platform that connects riders with independent driver-partners. We're not a transportation company. Drivers operate their own vehicles independently — they're not our employees.
When you book a ride or Pasuyo:
- The driver provides the actual transport service to you. They handle the riding, the route, the vehicle, the helmet.
- We provide the matching, the in-app communication, the payment recording, and customer support.
- You enter into a separate transport agreement with the driver each time you book. These terms govern your relationship with QuickQuick — not your relationship with the driver.
Bookings, fares, payment
- Fares are shown in the app before you confirm. Once you confirm, that's the agreed fare.
- Payment is made directly to the driver (cash or GCash) at the end of the trip.
- QuickQuick collects a service fee from the driver based on each completed ride. You don't owe QuickQuick anything for using the app — your only payment obligation is the agreed fare to the driver.
- If you cancel a ride after a driver is assigned and en route, the driver may charge a small cancellation fee.
- If a ride is canceled by the driver or by QuickQuick (no-show, system error), you owe nothing.
Your responsibilities as a rider
- Be ready at the pickup at the agreed time.
- Wear the helmet the driver provides. If they don't provide one, decline the ride and report it.
- Follow the driver's reasonable safety instructions while on the bike.
- Don't bring illegal items. Don't bring cargo that exceeds the bike's safe capacity. Don't bring anything that endangers the driver.
- Don't harass, threaten, or assault the driver. Don't damage the bike. Don't use the service for anything illegal.
- Pay the agreed fare in full.
- Report problems through the app or via support — don't take it out on the driver.
If you violate any of this, we may suspend or close your account immediately, and any costs we incur (e.g., damages, legal fees) become your responsibility under the indemnification clause below.
Service is provided "as is"
We work hard to make QuickQuick reliable, but we make no guarantees. The app, the matching service, and the platform are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically, we don't guarantee:
- That a driver will always be available when you book
- That ride times or fare estimates will be exact
- That the app will work without bugs, crashes, or downtime
- That GPS tracking will be perfectly accurate
- That drivers will always behave exactly as expected
- That the service will always be available in your area
You use QuickQuick at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by Philippine law, QuickQuick (and its founders, employees, contractors, and partners) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes — without limitation — damages for personal injury, property damage, loss of income, lost data, or emotional distress.
Our total liability to you for any claim, regardless of cause, is capped at the total amount of fares you paid through QuickQuick in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you've paid no fares in that period, our liability is zero.
This cap applies even if QuickQuick has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and even if remedies otherwise provided fail their essential purpose.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages — in those cases, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QuickQuick (and its founders, employees, contractors, and partners) from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable lawyer's fees) arising out of or connected with:
- Your use of QuickQuick
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party right
- Your interactions with drivers or other users
- Any content you submit through the app
Driver-rider disputes
QuickQuick is a platform — we don't control the actual ride. If you have a complaint about a driver (rude, unsafe, took the wrong route, didn't show up, broke something), report it through the app and we'll review it. We may suspend the driver, refund you, or take other action at our discretion.
We're not a party to the actual ride contract. Disputes about fares, damages, or conduct are between you and the driver. We'll help where we can, but we're not legally responsible for the driver's actions.
Account closure
You can close your account anytime by emailing support@quickquickph.com. We can close your account at our discretion if you violate these terms, behave in a way we judge to be unsafe or fraudulent, or for any other reason we deem appropriate. We don't owe you a refund of any unused balance or fees if your account is closed for cause.
Force majeure
We're not liable for service interruptions or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government action (including regulatory shutdowns or restrictions affecting the ride-hailing or motorcycle-taxi industry), war, civil unrest, telecom or power outages, third-party service failures (Firebase, Mapbox, GCash, etc.), or pandemic-related restrictions. In any of these cases, we may suspend or modify the service without liability.
Data and privacy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using QuickQuick, you also agree to that policy.
Disputes — arbitration in Puerto Princesa
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or QuickQuick services that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines, in accordance with the rules of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center.
You agree that:
- Arbitration is the exclusive forum for disputes (you waive any right to court trial, except for small claims as allowed by law)
- The arbitrator's decision is final and enforceable
- The losing party pays arbitration fees and the prevailing party's reasonable costs
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms periodically. The version on the app is always the current binding version. We'll notify you of material changes and ask you to re-accept on next app launch. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
